Our Story
Upendo was founded in 2023 by Stefania Vanzetti, in Zurich . Her vision was to create a place where therapists engage in genuine collegial exchange, find space for creativity and can develop professionally as well as personally.

What began with this idea is today a consolidated and established practice organization – thanks to the support of the leading psychotherapists at our locations and the continuous development through ongoing feedback from our team.
Since 2023, we have been among the pioneer practices in Zurich that have established psychological psychotherapy in the employment model . We stand for reliable structures, clear processes and a professional environment that sustainably supports therapists in their daily work.

About your role
Psychotherapy and diagnostics for adults and/or children & adolescents
Helping to shape the further development of Upendo
Optional: Designing and possibly implementing group services (therapeutic/preventive); Co-developing therapeutic and psychoeducational materials

You have the following:
Master's degree in psychology & federally recognized psychotherapy training
License as an independent psychotherapist in the canton of Zurich (or will receive one shortly)
*The third clinical year can be completed at Upendo.
You are motivated to take on responsibility as part of a team and develop projects

About your role
Psychotherapy and diagnostics for adults and/or children & adolescents
Co-development of therapeutic and psychoeducational material
Optional: Design and possible implementation of group services (therapeutic/preventive)
You should apply if:
You have a positive and constructive personality
You enjoy working independently and at the same time value teamwork and exchange
You have relevant experience in psychotherapy (additionally: degree in psychology from a recognized university, at least 150 theory units and 70 hours of self-awareness training at a recognized further education institute in Switzerland).
You are willing to develop your professional skills
You enjoy thinking creatively and contributing your own ideas
